Spreading God's Love From Greenville South Carolina To An Overseas Coffee Shop

A customer of Powdersville Self Storage who once owned a coffee shop here in Greenville, South Carolina had an idea: What if a coffee shop could be established overseas in one of the many countries that desperately needs the love of Christ? This customer, along with Campus Crusade for Christ (“CRU”) ministry, is working to establish just such a coffee shop! Who would have thought - spreading the good news of Christ through a cup of coffee! It's a powerful idea. Let's pray for God's blessing to make it a reality.

Powdersville Self Storage is a strong supporter of Campus Crusade for Christ!

Premier Foundation, with the support of Powdersville Self Storage, sponsors trip to Israel to aid those in need

Representatives of Premier Foundation, with the support of Powdersville Self Storage, are headed to the country of Israel during the month of September. Premier Foundation is a non-profit organization with its headquarters in Greenville, South Carolina. The foundation is headed up by its President, Gene Krcelic. Mr. Krcelic is a customer of Powdersville Self Storage.

Premier’s belief statement is the following: “The Premier Foundation is an international Christian non-profit organization committed to being a voice for the disadvantaged.  We exist to love and serve the impoverished by meeting their physical, spiritual, educational, social and emotional needs; thus, empowering them to be agents of change in their own communities.”

There is a tremendous need in the city of Lod, Israel, for a shelter that would feed hundreds of single moms, children, the homeless, and the survivors of the Holocaust.  Currently, approximately sixty (60) meals are served per day.  With the help of the Premier Foundation, and with the support of Powdersville Self Storage, the goal is to furnish an entire kitchen whereby hundreds would be fed more than just one (1) meal a day.

It is our prayer that the needs of these people would be met and that they would feel the love of God from the services provided!

Powdersville Self Storage to sponsor Thrift Store in Romania

Photo Credit: Lisa Cyr (borderlys on Flickr)
For the past several years, Powdersville Self Storage, has sponsored a child in Romania by donating funds that would enable an orphaned child to receive one (1) hot meal per day and also be able to attend school.

Now, with the full support of Powdersville Self Storage, there are plans to open a Thrift Store in Romania, to aid those who are in need of shelter, furniture, etc.  We have a unit specially designated for household goods and clothing.  When that unit becomes full, we will then ship the contents to Romania and then the container, itself, will also be left behind to convert into a home for the needy.

Powdersville First Baptist plans a trip to Romania once every year to deliver these goods, as well as to establish church buildings, work on existing buildings, and work with individuals there to train them on how to reach out to the community by sharing God’s love. Donations to sponsor a Romanian orphan can be made at Powdersville First Baptist Church, located at 4212 Highway 153, Easley, South Carolina. Your checks can be made out to “Hope for Romania”, and are tax-deductible.

We appreciate your support!
